Competing for Belmont in 17 NCAA Division-I sports, the Bruins are known for their championship tradition and long history of athletic excellence. The Bruins have played in four NCAA basketball tournaments as of the 2011 men's basketball tournament. They were also conference tournament champions in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2011!
